Heavy transport across two continents

When oversized industrial containers travel by truck or ship, it usually doesn't just look spectacular, there's also a lot of logistical fingertip feeling behind it. In the case of a nearly 60-ton autoclave, a gas-tight sealable pressure vessel, DACHSER pooled the expertise of its Air & Sea Logistics teams in Germany and India and transported the oversized pressure vessel from the manufacturer in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany to Bangalore in southern India. A customer-oriented approach and precise planning by the international teams were key.

DACHSER is planning zero-emission delivery areas in ten more cities

The DACHSER Emission-Free Delivery concept for city-center deliveries, which started as a research and innovation project, has proven hugely successful. There are already twelve zero-local-emission city-center delivery areas for non-chilled goods in the DACHSER network at present, and further growth is planned: at least ten more major European cities are set to follow by 2025.

DACHSER strengthens logistics location in Bremen

Over the past few months, DACHSER’s logistics center in Bremen, Germany has expanded its handling area in preparation for future growth. With floor space of around 3,300 sqm, the extension building for the European Logistics business line now offers more space for handling industrial and consumer goods. The additional floor space on Senator-Blase-Str. was brought into operation at the beginning of January.
