In its sixth year, the DACHSER Asia Pacific Management Trainee program has proven to be a valuable pipeline to hone future leaders. Rooted in DACHSER's six values of entrepreneurship and the courage to innovate, inclusive responsibility, sustainability, loyalty and commitment, integrity and honesty, as well as openness and respect, the program is designed to empower young talent with the skills, knowledge, and experiences needed to excel in the logistics industry.
Well-structured program building excellence
The initiative offers a structured curriculum that combines training, hands-on experience, and exposure to various departments within the Asia Pacific organization. This ensures trainees acquire a well-rounded understanding of air and sea logistics operations, business development, supply chain management, tender management and more.

DACHSER Shanghai is recognized as CEIV Pharma Certified by IATA
DACHSER received the Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics (CEIV Pharma) certification from IATA for its Shanghai organization including its PVG airport branch in March 2021. This marks the finalization of a project of extensive preparation, complex procedures and detailed auditing, despite additional challenges caused by the global pandemic.
The expanded Rotterdam Logistics Center in Waddinxveen, the Netherlands, is expected to be operational in October 2020. The new warehouse at the Doelwijk A12 logistics hotspot offers 17,278 square metres of storage capacity for more than 30,000 pallet spaces.

DACHSER and Fraunhofer IML receive German Logistics Award for digital twin
The German Logistics Association (BVL) has given the 2023 German Logistics Award to DACHSER and Fraunhofer IML. The jury gave the award for the @ILO (Advanced Indoor Localization and Operations) digital twin. Developed in collaboration at the DACHSER Enterprise Lab, this technology—which has already been piloted at two branches—automatically creates and continuously updates a digital twin of all packages, assets, and workflows in a transit terminal. Employees can access all this information presented clearly on mobile devices and displays.
